The encounter is described below along with a few photos of the tracks.
We arrived at the Green Swamp at 4:30 am proceeded to ready ourselves putting on our night investigation gear. Green Headlamps, Bear Spray, backpack, Gen 1 Night Vision, Thermacell, and Audio recorder. The night was quiet as if everything had just stopped. listening closely you could hear a whippoorwill and a bard owl way off in the distance. We began our walk down the trail. the only thing heard was each of our steps as we placed our feet on the shell crushed, sandy trail. we had only traveled about 300 yards. When Desi heard a whistle. She told me it sounded human. I disregarded the sound based on my years of hunting i figured it had to be a frog, bug or bird of some sort. We paused there for a minute listening and then proceeded further down the trail.
Then another whistle this time we both heard the whistle clearly and it did sound like a human whistle. We paused and realized the sound had moved from its previous location to almost north of us. I pulled out the night vision to scan the Woodline and the surrounding area. I saw nothing. We remained there listening and visually searching for any sound or movement. There was no sounds not even a bug, there was no movement. After about 5 minutes e continued on our way. We rounded a corner of the trail and to the north was a burned palmetto field and a Woodline. This extended parallel to the trail for about 3 to 400 hundred yards. We continued down the trail and were about 75 yards from the next head of end of the burnt palmetto field when we heard a Whistle and pop of a branch breaking. I took out the Night vision and began to scan the Woodline. This is when Desi Said "Troy what is this?" as I turned to look her green head lamp was illuminating what appeared to be a juvenile sasquatch foot print. I was stunned and so was she. We found 19 Tracks that morning some heading east and some heading west on the trail. As we began to measure the tracks and take photos we could hear the whistles continue to the west.
The Theory
The juveniles were on the trail and the adult sasquatch was in the Woodline as we worked our way down the trail the adult whistled to warn the Juvenile of our presence sending the Juvenile back to the west. The way it had come.
